At Rebuilding Together of Central Florida, volunteers are the core of our operations. They are agents of change, they inspire others. They are [Re]Builders! These [Re]Builders have a passion to help others, and a passion to better their communities. From leading project builds (when it's safe to gather!) to help with community outreach, our mission to repair homes, revitalize communities, and rebuild lives could not be done without the help of [Re]Builders.
To ensure the safety of our volunteers, homeowners, and community, in-person volunteering for home repair projects is on hold. We have missed seeing our [Re]builders at project sites this year, and hope to see you all soon. To be notified when in-person volunteering resumes, click the button below and enter your information. We can't wait to start Rebuilding Central Florida with you soon!
Volunteers are the backbone of our organization. In 2019, 456 Rebuilders worked over 2,700 hours to help repair houses into safe and healthy homes.
Volunteering vs. Pandemic
Limited group gatherings in 2020 meant that we worked with just 6% of the volunteers we normally do - during a time when safe and healthy housing repairs are needed more than ever before. If you live in a safe and healthy home, consider making a gift to Rebuilding Together of Central Florida today.
We need help from our friends who are actively working in or who have retired from the construction industry. You can help by inspecting homes, lending a hand on a home repair project, or project managing a home's repair from start to finish. Contact us to learn how you or your construction, home repair or skilled trade company can give back to our neighbors in need.
Volunteer from Home
Share your skills with Rebuilding Together from home! Volunteer from home opportunities ranges from admin support to community outreach and more. We are looking for photographers, writers, and those with a desire to share their knowledge and skills to make an impact in our community. Send us an email to introduce yourself today!
