Virtual Volunteer Opportunites

Grant Research

The grant research volunteer project can be done in the comfort of your own home. For this project, you will need access to a computer or tablet, and a stable internet connection. The project consists of researching upcoming and potential grant opportunities for Rebuilding Together. You will be asked to set yourself a goal of how many potential grants you can commit to finding. Each volunteer will receive a spreadsheet template to follow on google sheets. Volunteers will also receive a packet that will include information about Rebuilding Together to help make the decision if the grant is an opportunity Rebuilding together would qualify for, grant research tips, and a list of websites where they can start their search. Typically, this project takes between 3-7 hours, depending on the amount of time a volunteer has to dedicate to their research, and the goals they choose to set. Volunteers who go above and beyond with this project have the opportunity to become an administrative volunteer leader and will guide future volunteers with similar projects and tasks.
