Programs

When our neighbors struggle to maintain their homes, the health and safety of our entire community are at risk. From roof replacement to aging in place, our programs aim to address the most urgent needs impacting the well-being of homeowners, their families, and our neighborhoods.

Repairs at Rebuilding Together of Central Florida are offered at no cost to the homeowner because no one should have to choose between the roof over their head and food on the table. Visit our apply for services page for more information.

Safe At Home

At Rebuilding Together, we believe that older adults and people with disabilities should be able to remain safe, healthy, and independent in their affordable homes and communities. We’ve been repairing homes for nearly 20 years – building ramps, installing grab bars, remodeling kitchens – and have seen a steady increase in the need for more comprehensive home modification assistance. That’s why we’re launching Safe at Home, our program designed to help seniors age in place and restore independence and accessibility for those with disabilities.

We’re proud to offer this, and every repair program at Rebuilding Together of Central Florida, at no cost to our neighbors in need. More information on Safe at Home coming in January 2021.

Raise the Roof

When our roofs fail from age or storm damage, our homes and families are at an increased risk of injury or illness. Safe and healthy housing is the foundation we all deserve, so let’s Raise the Roof to keep our neighbors stably housed.

Since 2016, Raise the Roof has provided over 80 roofs to our neighbors in need – keeping homes resilient during storm season and helping folks maintain their homeowner’s insurance. Raise the Roof begins accepting applications for City of Orlando residents on January 4, 2021.

Building A Healthy Neighborhood

The Building a Healthy Neighborhood program joins Rebuilding Together’s strategic community development approach, the Community Revitalization Partnership, and our core practice model, Safe and Healthy Housing. In this program, Rebuilding Together of Central Florida partners with a neighborhood block to repair multiple homes at the same time – bringing neighbors, volunteers, and construction experts together to rebuild, together.

Does your neighborhood need help with home repairs? Let us know that you’re interested in partnering with Rebuilding Together of Central Florida. We’d love to get to know our neighbors throughout Orange and Seminole counties!
